career scholars from/based in the Global South (especially Africa, Middle
East, Asia) who can contribute as </span><b style="font-family:arial,sans-serif">Assistant Editors </b><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif">for </span><a href="https://www.4sonline.org/backchannels.php" target="_blank" style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(5,99,193)">4S Backchannels</a><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif">.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:150%;margin:0cm 0cm 8pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><font face="arial, sans-serif"><br></font></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:150%;margin:0cm 0cm 8pt"><span style="line-height:150%"><font face="arial, sans-serif">The candidates will be part of the team sharing and disseminating STS news, research from/about geographies in the Global South in the form of short academic writings. Besides
some editorial skills, they will
encourage potential authors to contribute with their works. The Assistant
Editors will assist the collection, editing and publication
of the writings in Backchannels. <br>

This is an opportunity to become part of a collaborative network, which works voluntarily and with an excellent academic group, to
become familiar with editorial tasks, and to get to know the
STS community around the world. We are looking for people
interested in being in this position for at least two years.<br>
