This series is an extension of the ICTD series we have held in Oxford in previous years. This year we are organizing it at The Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for data science, where we are in charge of a <a href="https://www.turing.ac.uk/research_projects/data-and-inequality/" target="_blank">special interest group on Data and Inequality</a>. This interest group seeks to bring together scholars and scholarship on the topic of data and inequality. We do this in two ways. First, by asking how we might best employ new data streams to better understand economic, social, and political inequalities around the world.
