The application should include a project outline, which will be strongly emphasized in the assessment of the applications. This outline should state a research problem, describe the theoretical and methodological approach, explain what type of empirical data will be used and give a timeline. The project outline should contain an argument on how the applicant’s project is relevant for the overall project.</p><p>In addition to conducting his/her own project the research fellow should be prepared to contribute to the joint activities of the overall project along with the other participants. </p><p>The fellow will be employed at the Institute of Health and Society at the University of Oslo, but will be working at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology.</p><p>The fellowship period is 3 years. The main purpose of a post-doctoral research fellowship is to qualify a researcher for work in higher academic positions. No one can be appointed for more than one specified period as postdoctoral research fellow at the same institution</p><p><strong>Qualifications and Personal Skills</strong></p><p>The position requires completion of a doctoral degree with relevance for Institute for health and society. Personal suitability and co-operation skills will receive special attention in the selection process.
