[STS-Africa] Change in list curatorship

[Ballim, Faeeza]

Dear STSAfrica subscribers,

Together with Norman Schräpel, I launched this list in 2014 as a service by the LOST <https://lost-research-group.org/> research group at Halle (Germany) for the wider STS community interested in Africa.

In 2018, when I moved to WiSER<https://wiser.wits.ac.za/themes/sts-africa> at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, the list continued to be curated from there.

Eleven years after its inception, it feels like the right moment to pass the curatorship on to the next generation—also given that the list has become less active over the past few years.

I am very grateful to Faeeza Ballim and Stephen Sparks, both in the Department of History at the University of Johannesburg<https://www.uj.ac.za/faculties/humanities/departments-2/history/staff-research-associates-and-pdrfs/staff/>, for agreeing to take over the curatorship of this list.
