Dear colleagues,

The Wellcome Trust 4yr PhD Programme in ‘One Health Models of Disease: Science, Ethics and Society’ - based at the University of Edinburgh and co-directed by Ross Fitzgerald (Roslin Institute) and I - is currently recruiting students for autumn 2024 entry.

The interdisciplinary training the programme provides makes it very suitable for PhD candidates in STS, medical sociology, and medical anthropology.

All students will receive a tax-free starting stipend of £23,955 per annum, plus travel and research funds for all four years of the Programme. All University fees will be covered, regardless of country of citizenship.

For application details, please see:

I would be very grateful if you could please circulate this info to anyone who you felt might be interested in this programme. Thank you very much!

All the very best

Martyn
