Dear all,
*Backchannels* <https://www.4sonline.org/4s-publications/backchannels/> is
the blog of the Society for Social Studies of Science (4S)
<https://www.4sonline.org/>. It provides an outlet for students and
scholars of STS to publish shorter, timelier, media-rich communiques of
interest to the global STS community.
I am one of the members of the Global South team of *Backchannels*, and we
are keen to showcase more contributions from Africa.
*Why write for Backchannels?*
Contributing to *Backchannels* provides you the opportunity to share how
your work connects to and enhances the field; to build networks and
resources around particular issues relevant to science and technology
today; and to participate in a growing conversation about the value of STS
scholarship in society.
*What kind of submissions do we look for?*
- report-backs from conferences and workshops;
- reflections on key ideas, concepts, trends or or experiences;
- interviews with STS scholars;
- critical reviews of popular media, including books, movies, music, etc.
- projects you’re working on
Please refer this link for editorial guidelines
<https://www.4sonline.org/4s-publications/backchannels-editorial-guidelines/>
and do write to me in case you would like to submit to the blog.
Thanks & Regards,
*Joseph Satish Vedanayagam *(Joseph)
*Coordinating Member, 4S Backchannels (Global South)*
*PhD student*
*Centre for Knowledge, Culture & Innovation Studies*
