CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST IN CONDUCTING A PATIENT SATISFACTION SURVEY

I run an independent consultancy in Johannesburg, South Africa and am looking for senior researchers in Cape Verde, The Gambia, Swaziland, Tanzania and Uganda who can rapidly conduct a small patient care satisfaction survey in each of these countries.  

The country surveys need to be run by people who have health or social science research experience and can conduct the survey with a sample of approx. 150 people in five public health clinics across selected urban, peri-urban and rural areas. The location of the clinics will be determined by the Department of Health and 30 respondents will be interviewed at each site. I will supply the researcher with the sampling framework and a short questionnaire (10-15 questions). The researcher will need to undertake the following activities:

1. Recruit, train and manage a fieldwork team in order to collect the data between 20 October and 7 November 2014.  
2. Put in place appropriate measures to assure the quality of the data collected.
3. Capture the data in Excel
4. Write a report on the survey results, using a template designed by the project. This is due no later than 19 November 2014.
5. Send the original questionnaires to the project coordinator in Johannesburg, South Africa by 21 November 2014.
