The College of Social Sciences will organize its First Annual Conference titled the Voice of Social Sciences from 17thto 18th November 2014 in Dar es Salaam. The Conference theme for this year is “Achieving Sustainable Development in the Interconnected World.” The theme stems from the fact that we are living in an interconnected world where planning by one society is affected or affects other societies. Despite substantial contribution of social science research, most of the findings have not been widely disseminated hence do not feature adequately into development planning processes in many countries. This conference therefore will provide an avenue for interaction between social scientists and users of research output.

July 15, 2014 – submission of abstracts 
August 15, 2014 - notification of acceptance of abstracts 
September 30, 2014 - full paper submission 
October 30, 2014 – deadline for paying the registration fee
