A reminder that this week, Thursday at 4pm, we will be reading Yuen Yuen
Ang's *How China Escaped the Poverty Trap* (Cornell, 2016) and that we will
have an on-line panel discussion with her on Friday, July 16, to
discuss *China's
Gilded Age*.  We will gather questions for that book in advance, so please
send anything, to this list or directly to me, that you'd like to ask.
