My name is Mbongeni Andries Tembe, I am a senior technician with the
African Rock Art Digital Archives. I have worked with the KwaZulu-Natal
Provincial Archives and Records Service, the University of KwaZulu-Natal
Library Service, Seth Mokitimi Methodist Seminary Archives Repository, and
the KwaZulu-Natal Museum Special Collections. I have a master’s degree in
Information Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal specialising in
preservation and access to heritage. I have presented several papers at
different conferences such as the 15th Annual National Conference Oral
History Association of South Africa 2017, the South African Society of
Archivist Annual Conference 2018, the 6th Courageous Conversations 2018,
the 26th Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Branch of International
Council on Archives General Conference 2021 (Published), and the 3rd
Biennial UNILISA Conference 2023.  We are now managing the existing digital
collections while the new project is still in the planning stages.
